Everwaves Is Now Truely Connected

Everwaves Is Now Truely Connected

The first days on a new Everwaves world always feel a bit the same. Everyone rushes to get settled, builds a starter base, and vanishes into their own direction. Fast forward a week: and suddenly, there are roads everywhere.

That’s exactly what happened during our Infrastructure Contracts event.

A World That Finally Connects

The idea was simple: connect your base to the main road loop built by wheeat_ around 240 / -46. North, south; as long as it linked up, it counted.

What we got in return was far more than “just paths”. Some players went all-in on visuals, others focused on speed and efficiency (yes, minecart enjoyers, we see you). The result is a world that’s now genuinely fun to travel through.

Since I can't fully captivate how many connected paths we have on the server now, just take a look on https://map.everwaves.net/ to see how long the paths are. If we were playing Settlers of Catan, we'd definitely have the Longest Road.

If you haven’t yet: Take a horse and go for a ride.
You’ll notice how quickly you move between places — and how much there actually is to see along the way.

Built Until the Very Last Minute

One of the highlights of this event: people were still placing blocks in the final hour. No half-finished paths, no “I’ll submit later”, just players pushing to get things done before the deadline.

🏆 Infrastructure Contracts — Top 3

After checking all submissions, three builds stood out in particular:

🥇 #1 — _wheeat
A strong, clean route that feels like the backbone of the road network. Logical, good-looking, and exactly what infrastructure should be.

🥈 #2 — AyeHotshot
A true Nordic designed path with a ton of texturing put into it. Very well thought out.

🥉 #3 — camber_
A solid, but long road that has all the enjoyable bits to keep you going.

These three receive an extra reward on top of the standard event rewards.

🎒 Participation Rewards

Everyone who joined the Infrastructure Contracts has received a participation bundle, delivered straight to their base. Whether you built something massive or kept it simple. If you connected up, you’re covered.

What’s Next?

For now: enjoy it. Use the roads, take the long way instead of the Nether. Ride past bases you haven’t seen yet. This is one of those changes that quietly makes the server better every day.

This won't be the last time we'll put our world to work.
