How to Join the Everwaves Server!

So you don't know how to join a Minecraft server? (Let alone the best one, Everwaves.)
Or maybe you just need a refresher. Regardless, here's a short, no nonsense guide on doing just that!

Joining the Discord Server

The Everwaves Server is run through our connected Discord server. This lets us socialize, plan and announce events, among many other things! Join using the link above.

Getting Whitelisted

On Everwaves, only users that have been explicitly whitelisted can join the Minecraft server. Don't worry! It's not a difficult process — in fact, let me guide you through it now!

Making a whitelist ticket

To get whitelisted, you'll need to create a ticket; this way, our staff knows who you are, and can make an informed decision!

Above, you'll see a screenshot of the Server Guide page. The first button is the one that you want — "Apply to the Whitelist!"

You will be guided to the 'whitelist-application' channel. Click "Whitelist Application", and you will get a PM from the whitelisting bot. Click on the notification, and click "Start application".

The bot will then ask you a series of questions. When entering your in game username, ensure that it is exactly correct — including capital letters!

After submitting your application, please give our staff some time to review it. Usually, new users get whitelisted within a few minutes. During this time, it's a great opportunity to read the Rules channel in the Discord — we like to keep a positive and welcoming space!

Once the staff has finished reviewing your application, you will get a notification within the Appy personal message conversation, informing you that you've been accepted or denied.

Once you're accepted, all that's left is to join the server! Our server is full of incredibly kind and welcoming people, so don't be afraid to say hi or strike up a conversation within the Discord, or in game!

Don't forget to read the server's rules and be kind to one another! This is a shared space, and a wonderful community. Let's keep it that way! 💜
